     The Community Asthma Network is a coalition devoted to facilitating community asthma awareness and education to prevent and control asthma. Founded in 2006, this organization began as a CDC funded mini-grant through the Wisconsin Asthma Coalition and the Children's Health Alliance. We have grown to over 350 members in the last 4 years and continue to grow with in-kind support from community partners.

Mission:
    To develop and implement a community action plan that 
    expands and improves the quality of asthma education, prevention
    management, control and access to services.

Vision:
    Individuals in West Allis-West Milwaukee will improve their quality
    of life regarding asthma and asthma prevention.

Goals:
    To expand and improve the quality of asthma education of our educators, coaches, secretaries and health room personnel in our public  and private schools 

    To expand and improve the quality of asthma education in our daycare facilities, Head Start programs, WIC clinics and Family Resource Centers within the West Allis-West Milwaukee communities

    To expand and improve the quality of asthma education in West Allis-West Milwaukee worksites through our Health Risk Assessment programs and our Occupational Health Programs for adults

    To expand and improve quality of asthma education in our Senior community through informative programs at the Senior Centers, Health Department and Senior Living facilities
